Accountant

Key responsibilities:

Maintaining the fixed asset register

Acquisitions/Depreciation/Disposal/Revaluation.

Managing all accounting transactions.

Preparing and submitting tax and vat returns.

Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

Reconciling Daily cash sales report.

Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

Assisting finance manager in preparation of final accounts and any other reports.

 

 Key competencies and skills:

Experience of managing computerized accounts system.

Experience of analyzing company financial data.

Strong accounting and admin skills.

Knowledge of local Mozambican laws and regulations.

Good communication skills.
