Hotel Manager

Hotel Managers can have a wide variety of duties depending on the establishment. Some main responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services: Greet guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, handle bookings, and resolve any complaints or special requests.

Staff Management: Supervise, schedule, train, and support front desk, housekeeping, and kitchen staff.

Property Maintenance: Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards, and coordinate repairs.

Financial Operations: Manage basic budgets, process payments, track inventory (linen, cleaning supplies, and food items), and monitor daily expenses.

Compliance & Admin: Ensure adherence to local health, safety, and hospitality licensing laws. 

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in hospitality, property, or guest house management.

Education: A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

Core Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, computer literacy (booking software and MS Office), and leadership
