Act as the primary technical resource for network and network security solutions, providing expert guidance to internal teams and customers.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and support the sales process.
Design and architect secure network solutions that align with industry best practices and security standards.
Plan and execute successful deployments of network and security products, including firewalls, secure access solutions, endpoint protection, and security management systems.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for network and security issues, both remotely and on-site when required.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training programs for customers and internal teams to ensure effective use of security solutions.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and advancements in network security technologies.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution architectures, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
Assist in proof-of-concept demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase security solutions to potential clients.
Work closely with technical support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, ensuring timely problem resolution.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic recommendations for optimizing and securing their network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified, Cisco CCIE/CCNP, Check Point CCSA/CCSE/CCMSE, Fortinet NSE 7+, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in System Administration (Compute, Storage, Backup), firewall administration, network security, and network infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2 switching protocols, and comprehensive knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Expertise in wireless networks, IPsec VPNs, and secure remote access solutions.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and their network security models.
Hands-on experience with Fortinet security solutions, including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiClient, and FortiSIEM.
Proven ability to design, implement, and support complex network security solutions using multi-vendor technologies.
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex security issues.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
